Your Business is Our Business!
Discovered by a young entrepreneur, Ben Payne, Fleurieu Contractors all began in 2012 when he had picked up a contract with Jim’s Mowing and leaving the olive industry. Deciding to leave school early and focus on starting his business, Ben spent two years on this mowing round ranging from the Fleurieu Peninsula all the way to Lockelys.
By 2014 Ben had decided to move on from Jim’s Mowing, he renamed his business and launched the very beginning of Fleurieu Contractors. Upon signing massive contracts with various businesses like Compass View Egg Farm and Fluerieu Gardening, he begun his very own mowing round.
In 2015 even more contracts flew in, signing gardening services for McLaren Vale Motel and Apartments and the construction of the Vineyard View Function Centre. This was also the year that the Information Technology Services was introduced as a service provided by Fleurieu Contractors.
By the time 2016 had come along, most of these contracts had ended and therefore the re-entry of the Olive industry started to unfold. Signing a huge contract with RVH Contracting for pruning, this was where Fleurieu Contractors reinvented themselves and made massive step into the Olive Industry.
2017 started to really take off for the Fleurieu Contractor team. Contracts beginning with Horti Works for Vintage, Australian Olive Company for harvester operation, processing and crushing, and Pine Hill Ridge Vineyards for machine operation and chemical spraying.
This was also the year Yundi Olives was launched, taking over groves in Yundi, Yankalilla and Sellicks. Quickly we saw this as an advantage and released our new range of Olive Oils.
Plans for launching Willunga Hill Vineyard had begun when we created our own 3 acre vineyard in Willunga Hill. Which we plan on releasing in 2021. Contracts to this day continue to fly in and the support from massive businesses have proven that 2017 was a great year for Fleurieu Contractors.
Over the years, we have learnt a lot and gained a vast amount of knowledge that continues to grow. We are planning to expand, as we now employ 4 people and continue to hold major contracts with many businesses.
Determined to succeed, our business continues to advance and we start climbing our way through the industry.
